Breakfast will include an educational presentation about how tourism businesses can use social media to increase the value of their marketing and public relations campaigns.

Deborah L. Smith, owner of Social Media Consulting, will demonstrate how tourism businesses can use social media opportunities, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook to enhance their marketing and publicity programs.

Ben Waldron, Executive Director of the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council, says this of a recent presentation by Ms. Smith - "Deborah's presentation on implementing and utilizing social media in a business marketing and public relations strategy is concise and understandable, even by a "lay person" such as me! Her use of local, recognized clientel and case studies in her presentation brings what could be a "way over your head" topic down to earth."

Tourism Council members and those interested in the regional tourism industry are welcome to attend this meeting. The Greater Atlantic City Region Tourism Council focuses its efforts on providing networking opportunities and educational/industry-focused programs to its members and community partners.
